Digital Zongo Project

The Zongo Digital Project helps small businesses and entrepreneurs in Zongo communities in Ghana make the most of the immense power of social media marketing, big data analytics, and business intelligence to expand their customer base, understand their clients, pinpoint trends, analyze the market, assess the competition, and enhance business processes.

Zongo Data Project

The Zongo Data Lab initiative aims to assist the Zongo communities in Ghana in getting the most out of their data by producing high-quality data to guide local public program and policy formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. For the purpose of promoting evidence-based decision making, the initiative will make local evidence and data available to local, national, and worldwide policymakers and decision-makers. This project will also enable local citizens to hold public leaders accountable and to keep an eye on development projects and programs.

Stakeholder Engagement on Digital Media Skills

ZongoVation Hub in partnership with the Ghana Tech Lab organized the Local Stakeholder Consultative Meeting to discuss the key challenges facing the local Zongo economy, and to provide solutions and recommendations on how to address the challenges to help achieve sustainable development through Digital Skills and Entrepreneurship.

Zongo Startup Summit for Digital Media Skills Trainees

The Zongo Startup Summit featured five startups pitching their ideas. As the overall winners, Voice Tek Media and Circlecue will proceed to the incubation and acceleration stage of the GTL Base Innovation Program. The remaining trainees will be enrolled in a program for internships.

Stakeholder Engagement on Mobile App Development

Ghana Tech Lab, in collaboration with ZongoVation Hub, has organized a stakeholder meeting as part of the Pathways to Sustainable Employment program to gather consensus on the potential and role of mobile app development technology in the Zongo Digital economy and its potential to boost youth employment throughout Zongo communities in the nation.

Zongo Startup Summit for Mobile App Development Trainees

The 2022 ZONGO STARTUP SUMMIT was organized by ZongoVation Hub and Ghana Tech Lab with the topic "Mobile Application for Sustainable Business Development and Job Creation in Zongo." Students from our mobile app development training program will present creative ideas to a panel of judges during the summit.

Zongo Cyber Security Project

The Zongo Cyber Security Project is a cyber security awareness project for the people of the Zongo community across Ghana. The main objective of the project is to create massive awareness about cyber security issues, especially Child Online Protection, among the people of the Zongos.
